I have one of these in my drawer on my bench here, and I can't find anything online based on it's part numbers or different search terms.
Does anyone know what this is? An 040-060 adapter perhaps?

The numbers on the bottom of this are as follows:
tc_M 02-94
94V-0
S68060-1-X . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . C1817904A
Could this be a 48040 -> 68060 adapter something like RS Components used to sell?

That looks interesting. Whilst a 25-40MHz 040 bus would be a bit of a let down, swapping the 040 for an 060 would still be a good performance boost.
Got any spare?
-
Everything I have is spare... :-D

Looks like it might just be. Apparantly designed with the Macintosh in mind. Do a Google Usenet search for
Interconnect Systems or (ITI) S68060
Lots of stuff from the mid 90's turns up.

Looks as if you could use this on the Amiga since it basically changes the 040 to the 060 just right? :S I guess from reading that article it looks like timing problems would be something??? But who knows. Would be nice to buy an 040 card and slam in an 060. :-)

I bet there are lots of A3640 owners who would be interested in one of these given the going rate for a cyberstorm 060
-
@All:
One idea would be to grab a WarpEngine which has better memperformance at 40MHz than the CyberStorm MK3 has at 50MHz, mount this adaptor and a 060 of relatively recent mask on it and run it at 80MHz. I take for granted that this adaptor runs the 060 in the mode where it run the bus at half internal clockspeed.

@Patrik
Don't you have a warp engine?
Muhaha!

Excellent. Thank you very much. I've been so darn busy that I didn't give it a real good google effort to figure out what it is. I've since contacted ISI and will probably have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to see if they have any documentation available for it.
Although these are a little different from the one I have above - they sure look familiar! click for a large image (http://www.isipkg.com/images/adp_pga_pga.jpg) of their current PGA solution.
Thanks again for doing my research work for me! :-)

Take a look here too:

This is the S68060-2 (the one of your 2nd link) but could help you anyway.

$269 wholesale price? That's too much. If it was a $100 retail item it would be fantastic, but a retailer would have to sell these for $315 or more to make it worth their while.
Anyone here have a 4000 or 3000 they are willing to risk trying the unit I have once I get the dip switch information? :-)
I don't even have an 060's here anymore to monkey around with, nevermind a working 4000. :-(

@CatHerder:
I have an A4000 and a 060 to test it with, if sending it to Sweden wouldn't be a problem.

Dont forget to run some benchies :-D

it seems o be voltage adapter for upgrading 040 to 060. The only difference between 040 and 060 physical busses is that 040 is 5v (PLL) and 060 is 3,3v (CMOS) cpu. Am i right?
