I really don't want to work.
I have this project that was due in today and I've been just pushing it in front of me the whole day. I really need to get it done before office hours tomorrow. Which means an all-nighter again. :-(
Photo editing/manipulation is really really boring. Especially when the customer gives you sloppy photos and they expect you to work your magic on them. It's more like drawings photos from scratch, than editing this time. :pissed:
It's much more fun to just write pointless threads.

Tell me about it - I'm the king of procrastination :-(
Pointless fact, as I've had a couple of ales:
'cras' is the Latin word for tomorrow.
I think the 'tination' bit's root is the verb 'teneo', to hold (although this verb can mean slightly different things in different contexts) so procrastination literally means
'holding for tomorrow' I guess :-)
But I 'hold for tomorrow' too many things, while my life is slipping by all too quickly - damn these forums!

Got an empty "naamloos1" office document opened the whole day on my pc today

I've actually started now... and decided to take a break. It all went very well to start with but now every alteration tend to look like {bleep}. Time for some coke (the soft drink) and hope for some inspiration....
Edit: Sigh... censoring s h it? Come on! Isn't this server located in a country where it's totally fine to buy and shoot guns and drop bombs on third world people? But you can't say {bleep}. Makes sense.
sorry... I'm a bit grumpy. :-D

I know exactly what you mean, heck I've even tried a RET (http://allpsych.com/personalitysynopsis/ellis.html) course to counter it. Not that it helped a single bit .
Oh and Cyberus, you are so wrong, I'm the god of procrastination :-P.

If you have some brainy work to do, the best time of the day to do it is probably around 6am-7am. :-) Did you know that?
-
Er yes, but that is probably after you have slept and provided you have a semi-'normal' dayroutine ;-).

3:30 am is definetely not working for me though. But I'm finally starting to see and end to this now. Probably just an hour to go until I'm finished. :-D

You might get more inspiration from the other kind ;-)
