I ordered two AmigaOne stickers from these guys
in June.
I paied about $ 25 for 2 stickers by PayPal,
due to high post & packing.
I have asked them twice pr. email about
by stickers, but still got no reply.
I have not yet received any stickers.
Is this site a fraud?
KDH Amiga Shop in Germany (http://www.kdh-amiga-shop.com)

Hmm, I don't think someone would be in business to defraud people out of such small amounts of money. If it'd been a t-shirt on the other hand...;-)
Seriously though, I think KDH is a legitimate shop. I believe they also sell on ebay.

I've bought loads of stuff from them, they're definitely not a scam. They're just not great on answering mails, unfortunately. Last time I had to send a mail to several different addresses to get a response.
These were:
KDH-Datentechnik@t-online.de
bestell@kdh-datentechnik.com
info@kdh-datentechnik.com
Please don't flood them with mail because you don't get an answer in a day. One to each these addresses, and a wait of a week or maybe two, will be most likely to get you a reply.

Thanks Kenny...now maybe they'll listen...
I have sent them an email on all of the 3 adresses you
gave me...

KDH is an excellent dealer: reliable, great support, friendly people.
Mr. Horbach had severe Health problems this summer and last month they moved to another part of the country.
Be patient.

I'll second Kenny's answer, I've spent some money at KDH with no issues.
-
I've only had really positive experience with them. Very friendly, very good. Had no problem at all with their service. Maybe there's some kind of problem, as the other posters said.

I bought my amigaONE from KDH, and it is probably the best amigashop i have ever used!
best regards

OK..I guess bottom line is that I am unlucky
because they have had some trouble...
I guess I will get reply from them...
I will get back to this thread whenever something
comes out of this...
And I hope I have not gotten anyone
to jump to hasty conclusions about KDH...
I am nobody who has the habit of spreading
false rumours...
I guess this all will end good...
Thanks for your attention and explanation
about KDH, as I not did know them very well...

To be honest, I only found SoftwareHut and AmigaKit to be acceptable when it comes to e-mail communication about orders or product questions. Every single other Amiga dealer seems to check their e-mail through Commodore 64 connected through busy dial-up/telnet access with a 300 baud connection... :-)
There can be times when Vesalia, AmigaSuperBit, KDH, etc. seem to reply regulary, however this is not a sure thing, in my experience... For some e-mails you need to beg them to reply and sometimes they respond quickly. :insane:

Today I received an email from KDH.
They were sold out at the time, and have not
received the two emails I sent.
They come with a percect apology
as quoted below:
So what shall we do. We can refund your money via PayPal and send you a sticker of your choice ( pls see our shop) free of charge. How does this sound ;))
Pls tell me how we shall proceed and pls take again my apologies for this failure.
I replies that from being most unhappy with KDH
I am now most satisfied with them for clearing
up this mess in such a gentle way...
I guess this thread got a good ending...
All the best for KDH!

I just wanted to assure you all that
responded to my worrying thread
that everything now is alright.
A couple of weeks ago I got
my PayPal money back, and 3-4 days
after that an AmigaOne sticker was
in my mail box.
Just a funny bieffect:
Even though I said to KDH: "Pick a sticker
for your own choice. Don't matter to me...",
then the sticker I originally ordered
and liked the best was enclosed in the
envelope.
Hehe.. I am not sure that this was the meaning
of KDH, but sures gives "proof" that
this story got a happy ending....
I repeat: All the best for KDH!

Good to hear.
And goes to show what I said on the Analogic thread - good retailers will go out of their way to keep their customers happy.
