I think that Kay should count, after all he is waiting delivery, he's paid for it. I'd also count someone who has paid for a pegasos baord and is waiting delivery.

What's the matter guys? Feeling threatened are we? :-)

Expect both numbers to go up after the OS 4 release, there are still some sensible people out there who are waiting to see a proper comparison.

Hmm, I expected someone would jump me for this...I thought it would be strobe rather than you, though :-). Anyway, I partly agree with you. Pre-payment is not a good thing. It's just that I have complete faith in the company I'm buying from, and when they sent out the bill, I just got it paid.

NOONE really knows when the next batchs of A1s and Pegasos are
really delievered, noone know when OS4 (and MOS) will really be
finished .....

Last post (before this thread goes off topic). I could get pedantic about ownership and payment, but I won't. The fact is it was only the usual MOS suspects that objected to Kay's inclusion. If it was a pegasos board would you of objected?

Surely it would be up to the person asking the question to judge which replies they count?

I also have a Pegasos1 April2, but that is not currently hooked up due to lack of some peripherals. I have also another Pegasos 2 on order, a G3 this time (so that will actually be my 4th Peg owned (!)).

Been running reliably with DMA turned on ever since I received it many months ago.

That was a country top-ten list; there are *lots* of other countries where there are Pegasos owners. ;-)

As I said, the first Peg1 was traded in, the second Peg1 is currently in closet but I will bring it to my office soon to get a decent computing envireonment :-P , then I use my current Peg2 for my "everyday Amiga needs", and the Peg2 G3 I have on order will function as a home server/router/firewal/etc on my LAN/broadband connection.

So they are all quite useful! :-)

(But I am really looking forward for support of the gigabit Ethernet in OpenBSD and MorphOS ...)

Ikir: I didn't know that it could be overclocked up to 1.2 Ghz... I would be reluctant to overclock mine, it could shorten the cpu life quite a bit...

P.S. someone please recount all the votes! And please check for double votes :)

Are they all of registered type? All the 8 DIMMs I've tried were cheap unregistered ones, and both UBoot's mtest and the Debian installer failed with all of them. I can order registered DIMMs from some shops in my city but they wouldn't refund me if they don't work, so I had no choice but to order one from an A1 dealer.
