Cool, we need more zombie flicks 8-) . Also good to see Asia Argento will probably have a role. :knuddel:
Sort of off topic, am I only one of few people who liked the Dawn of the Dead remake?

Haven't seen it, but the original is one of my favourite films. I'm a bit sceptical of remakes.
I love the original film, 'The Haunting', but daren't watch the remake of that....

I liked the remake, but the original blows it away IMHO. It's barely a remake though, the plot is only very losely based on the original.

They re-envented the way the zombies are meant to be (see also "28 days" etc.). I especially enjoyed the cameo appearance of T. Savini :-)
By the way, on movies.yahoo.com there is nothing about the new Romero movie! :-?

Actually neither of those 2 movies were the first. Return of the Living Dead in 1984 was the first to move away from the slow lumbering zombies.

From George Romero's Official Sit (http://www.georgeromero.com/):
My fourth zombie flick, "Dead Reckoning", is percolating on "high boil" since the "Dawn of the Dead" remake made 27 million in its first weekend. There's a very good chance that "Dead Reckoning" will go into production soon.
Nothing about Land of the Dead, but they could be the same project.

Did "Shaun of the Dead" ever get a North American opening? I know Universal were not keen, in case it hurt the Dawn of the Dead Remake sales.

Yes. As a matter of fact it opened in a handful of theatres a week ago, and apparently it did so well it opened in alot more theatres yesterday. I havn't seen it yet, but it is getting great reviews from both critics and the general public. I'll probably go see it this week.

Cool! I've got the DVD here, and I still find it funny. The Humour is a little... um... English... but you should enjoy it.

Yeah, I was a bit cynical about it, but I saw an advance copy round a friend's house and really enjoyed it.

I think the only problem with it is the name... "My Life as a Zombie" would have been much better, and much more appt :-)
