Title: Wave Energy
Post by: asian1 on September 27, 2004, 02:58:43 PM
Hi
Energetech (Australia) had announced new wave energy project (500KW) for 300 homes.
Can this new source of energy  compete with other source of energy? Is it reliable?

I doubt it will ever compete with other sources, however, it seems like a viable complement.
I believe that many people will switch to locaL power sources in the future.
That will never be enough for industries, though, so things like this will probably be used to fill in the gaps.
