Title: Caution: Amiga.org n00b Alert!
Post by: CaptChaos on September 26, 2004, 03:40:31 AM
Hi all, have been past this place many times but never bothered to register... always assumed this place was for the next gen amiga stuff.
Well a couple of days ago I needed some help with some OCS hardware issues and a search of the forums here turned up some answers besides "Throw your a500 away and get an A1200" which is an attitude I'm getting a little tired of at a certain other forum...

Anyways you seem to have a couple of Aussies around which is nice to see... and people who appreciate anything amiga so I guess I'll be seeing you guys around. :D

Greetings 'mate!

You keep it! get an A1200. In fact get as much Amigas you can buy and keep 'em! Expand 'em! Classic Amigas are getting rare.

Thye're like old songs too. It makes you remember the good ol days!

:pint: Cheers mate!

Regards,

Gizz

Thanks for the welcome guys :pint: :pint: :pint:

Well an A1200 is definately on my list, just want to find a reasonably priced stock machine, an A3000 would also be a nice addition to my current small commodore collection. Which consists of 2xA500 2xA1000 (one of which is my first Amiga) and a couple of c=64s and a lonely Vic20 which hasnt been used in a while ;)

Hey, a slightly expanded A500 would be a great machine to play all the old games on.  If you're like the rest of us, being able to fire up an original game that you grew up with is nothing to sneeze at.

Hey I had one of those +4's and the video died, so I tossed it. Maybe I should have kept it.
