Maybe if you state why its not installing anything, we can help you out. :-)

I doubt it. Sorry, im not on my own PC, this one is in work so i cannot install anything due ot the fact i dont have admin rights ;-)

I know a tool that can reset your local admin password ;-)
(You better not really try that, could get you lots of problems)

NT4.0 ?
-
Setup a bootable linux CD at home with an IRC client on it :D
Take it in and boot of the CD :-D

No CDRom on this PC :-(
They thought of that or it would be Knoppix all the way!

NT4 or NT5 (Win2000 and XP) but only tried it on my XP machine at work when we had to move it out of the domain but forgot to set the local admin password.......
There are several tools that can do this but use at your own risk !
Boot disks (http://www.petri.co.il/forgot_administrator_password.htm)
another site (http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/) (Used this one myself)
And, really RTFM first. Also, changing the password of an user renders encrypted files of that user inaccesable if there's no second account setup to read those encrypted files.
But so much for secure login.

Heh
Maybe i shouldnt "hack" the corprate systems here in work.
Thanks for the info tho!
