Title: Meqon Physics Engine
Post by: Calen on September 21, 2004, 02:32:46 AM
Very cool collection of demos to show of the Meqon Physics engine, something to possibly rival Havoc etc.

Meqon (http://meqon.com/downloadarea/downloadarea.php)

Direct links:
Meqon demo collection (http://meqon.com/downloadarea/meqon-demos-1.3.1.zip) (only 1.4mb)
Jeep Demo (http://meqon.com/downloadarea/jeepdemo.zip) (11mb)

Requirements: windows & OpenGL compatible graphics card.

Have fun! :-)

Wow!

(always liked those jeeps anyway)

The screen saver is a nifty tool, used with paintshop screen grab...

I like the physics, but it has made me aware that I have certain idiot-like qualities.
I can't stop loading the 'sticks' demo and trying to  knock all of them down by touching only one stick. It's stupid, I know. But I'm fascinated by how they fall, and I keep trying to get them all down. Is that silly or what? I'm cursing because they won't all fall. My best effort has left three standing.
I think I'll book myself in for a CAT scan tomorrow to see why I am addicted to those damned sticks!
