Sorry new to your post biding on an Amiga 2000 with benny's. Amiga was originally made by Commadore right? Can you attach Amiga 3.5 drive to a Commadore 64? I have old style 84 puter game for commadore want to run it faster and better on the Amiga. Can it be done a little info please.

No, but commodore made them.

With ducktape you can. But it will not work. If you want to go 3.5 inch on a commodore 8 bit you'll need an 1581 or a CMD drive. You are not likely to run into either of those. They are rare and expensive.

No,no,no! Amiga and 8 bit commodores are in no way compatible. Forget it. Buy a nice beefy pc and install the ccs64 emulator. That emulator will give you a GHz C64 :-P
Try browsing the web some more. There is a huge ammount of info on these different computers.
Good luck.

Its actually called "duct tape"... :-)
-
Actually...: (http://www.henkelca.com/about/history/80s.asp)
1985 Jack Kahl officially re-names duct tape "Duck Tape" and creates Manco T. Duck, Manco´s mascot and ambassador of good will.

@Odin
You really need to get out more...
-
Heck, what are you going to do with "duck tape"? Tape a duck to the wall? :-)
-
Actually...:

:-D.
@seer:
What? Just, because I have a soft spot for the confusion that surrounds the du(c)(k)(t) tape mystery? ;-)
-
Don't get me started :lol:
-
Yep, it's the one and only 'Duck Tape© 1985 (tm)' allright...
:lol:
-
:flame: :smack:

Yeah, but surely if it isn't 'branded' Duck tape then it's duct tape.
Anyway, having a speedup on games that were designed for the C64 will just make 'em unplayable, as anyone thats tried playing a game for an early Amiga on a later one can testify ;-)
Some games were, however, done on both C64 and Amiga, with the Amiga version being identical apart from having more colours and better sound (sometimes smoother too).

Maybe we should have a thread about duck tape vs duct tape and another favourite one:
tender hooks vs tenter hooks
:-P

The correct term is tenter hooks.

Definitely madness, or more like trolling.

In Canada it is still affectionately known officially as "Duct Tape..."
According to one of our national heros anyways:
Red Green (http://www.redgreen.com/)
The definative definition of duct tape:
Red "Duct Tape" Green (http://www.redgreen.com/media/photos/red.htm)
-
Technically according to the official celebrity spokesman Red Green it is the "Handymans secret weapon"
3M Canada Press Realease. (http://www.3m.com/intl/CA/english/about_us/press_releases/pnews00-01-s.html)

I stand corrected...

@jjans:
I had not updated that message when I posted so I didn't see your post. Made it look as If I was correcting you. Wasn't the case, I just happen to be a big Red Green fan and I could not resist posting that. :-)

The best local TV in Detroit is from Windsor. ;-)

duct tape? I was sure I bought ducktape lately....mmm that should explain why it didn't hold. It was a cheap copy of duct tape. Is it military spec? :-D

First this thread went off-topic like a car going all over the road, then it drove off a cliff and landed on its roof :lol:

I always like the 200mph tape they use on stock cars - that comes in all kinds of colours :-)
-
Red Green had some 6 or 8 inch wide duct tape in a Handyman project. He referred to it as "relaxed fit duct tape". :lol:
-
roflmao @ 'KapitanKlystron' - what a nick! :lol:
Nice one.

@Cyberus
You may remember me from the 80's pop group "Kapitan Klystron and the Local Oscillators". :-)
