Post by: DaNi on September 20, 2004, 09:07:28 PM
Hi have some problems with a error, most of my programs installed on my SDH0: now don`t work, i checked with the sfscheck program and the result is this:

sfscheck sdh0:
Partition start offset : 0x00000000:00963000   End offset : 0x00000000:518c1000
Surfaces         : 6       Blocks/Track  : 1602
Bytes/Block      : 1024    Sectors/Block : 2
Total blocks     : 1326456
Device interface : (standard)

Checking RootBlocks
...okay
Checking AdminSpaceContainers at block 2
...okay
Checking NodeContainers at block 7
ObjectContainer at block 412859 doesn't contain node 31197
...damaged

How can repair this container or anything for solution my partition?

Thanks

If you have a standard device setting bytes/block to 1024 might give a problem.

Further on my machine :angel:
Mask = 0xFFFFFFFC
Maxtransfer = 0x00001fe0

If this doesn't help try formatting :destroy:

When SFSSalv starts you should see only drive designations (eg DH0:) in the left hand pane. What do you see when the program loads?

i can see all my partitions and i can entry on alls. I entry in my damaged partition (SDH0:) and show alls my dirs/files but its strange, only i can select files, not dirs! (for select a dir, for example, ibrowse, i need to select first alls files of subdirs, and files of dirs for have the ibrowse dir selected! if i need to do this with all my FULL sdh0: partition, i think, i need 2 years for select all dirs/subdirs by hand! :P

You must select 'recursive' first, then 'all'. If you select 'all' first then 'recursive', you have to select 'all' again.
