Hello
Several people on this board complained about the extensive coverage of various Athens Olympics Games on TV.
At present there is a Paralympics Game in Athens.
What is the coverage of Paralympics Game on your local TV?
Do they broadcast the opening and closing ceremonies?
BBC and CNN broadcast daily summary of various Paralympics games.
In my country, all TV and Cable boycott the Paralympics. No TV mention the game, not even the ceremonies or daily summary.

A daily summary here in Sweden too, at the public service tv-channels.
-
BBC2 show the full footage. Good old auntie.

I've been there with a daily ticket, last Sunday. I liked it much, and I admire the will and strength of these athletes.
In Greece there is a daily coverage of the games with the highlights, and the national tv network broadcasted the opening ceremony (ERT, NET (http://olympics.ert.gr/en/paralympics/olympics.asp)) even using sign language (gestures) for the hearing impared people (ET3).
Hope you visit and support your team in the paralympics games.
P.S. Paralympics stands for the games beeing organised into parallel with the Olympics (same period, just after the closing ceremony of the latter).

Although I missed it, the opening cerimonies were shown here as well. No daily full-day coverage like the regular olympics though.

Hoya!
Marginal coverage...
Like "Paralympics: France got a Bronze medal... follows 30 sec interview.".
To bad people on wheelchairs are not popular as footie...

Dunno, but some things strike me as very silly. I mean, tandem cycling in the velodrome? Apparently some blind Dutch guy won silver in that competition. The weird thing was that the guy (with vision) who was steering wasn't named at all in the interview. Doesn't he have to work just as hard? :-?.
