Title: diskdrive gives guru meditation

I've got another Chinon FZ-354 diskdrive from a friend. I try this diskdrive in an A2000 with kickstart 1.3. When a disk is being read, it gives a guru meditation. How does this happend?

Hmm, that's not normal.  :-)

Try reseating all the socketed devices on the motherboard first, intermittent socket contacts can cause weird stuff like that.

Failing that, it could be a logic fault with Paula (U200).

Or maybe something strange going on with the drive?  Try a known working one with a new 34 way drive ribbon cable.

It only appears with that drive. If I use my old drive, it works perfectly.
