Well... years ago i had the same problem, but someone provided me a delitracker genie which could play .IT
but as delitracker is now free to download at aminet, it might be included too as well. ;)
i hope for you that it works, because i dont guarantee if the genie is in the archive, as i couldnt try out my version because of lack of an .IT-file :)

If you won't be able to find IT plugin for DeliTracker, please leave your email in private, I can send you plugin that supports impulse tracker 1.0-2.0 modules.

Play16 is a sample player, it doesn't play modules.

OT: Winamp on the PC plays .IT files, though I've found some playback bugs here and there. For older MOD formats (.mod, .xm, .669, .ult, .mtm) it works extremely well. XMplay for PC works extremely well for .IT files. Or, if you happen to still be running win95/98 you can just download Impulse Tracker itself at www.noisemusic.org/it.
I used Impulse tracker for years, but have since moved on to Renoise (www.renoise.com). The interface is very similar to Noisetrekker.
