Title: MIAMI TCP (or AMITCP)... Where can I find it?
Post by: dragon_pri on September 16, 2004, 08:04:17 PM
Hello,

I have got a brand new peg2 and I would like to connect it on a TCP/IP network but I can't download a demo of MIAMI TCP...

All the servers containing the main archive (Aminet, nordic global,...) seems to be unavailable !

Please, give me a nice working link to download it!

Thanks.

Aminet has several working mirrors. The german one here
seems to be O.K. So you can try the following:

http://de.aminet.net/aminetbin/find?miami

Greetings,

Scholle

Hum,
try Miami32b-MUI.lha (http://wuarchive.wustl.edu/~aminet/comm/tcp/Miami32b-MUI.lha)

or  Miami32b-020.lha (http://ftp://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/comm/tcp/Miami32b-020.lha)

Sorry, but I'm a big noob concerning MOS.

I have got two packages named:
Miami32b2-main.lha
Miami32b-MUI.lha

After decompression, I have two folders:
Miami32b_Install
Miami32b2_main Folder

Can you tell me where is situated the install script?
And... How can I run a script under MOS?  :-?

Thanks a lot.

My Pegasos is on a switch.

My tiny LAN has a routeur connected on it.
So, I need to use it as my gateway in order to be internet-connected.

The routeur is also my DHCP server.

Do I need to use Miami DX?

Well...IIRC Miami 3.x doesn't do DHCP. Only MiamiDX does. However, one solution would be to use static IP addresses instead of DHCP assigned dynamic IP addresses.

(Note: I have zero knowledge of MOS).
