Title: MP3 playback options?

A question about hardware. Repulse has optical ins & outs, can you
connect to anything? for example a DVD player w/mp3 hardware decoding?
If so would it help unload the rest of the system. Any feed back would
help.

I find it hard to belive that no one has tried this, it would seem to
be a good option for internet radio. To be able to free up more
resources for other stuff. Guess I'll have to try it. :-)

But....optical signal stuff only sends audiostreams. Not datastreams. So how in the world would you get the MP3 datastream to the DVD player?
