Hi mates... just wondering if there's a DYS hack or a commercial adapter to be able to connect an Amiga 1000 keyb to an A4000 or A1200T (Power Tower) computers...
cheers!

Hi Dragster,
Don't know about the A4000, but I've easily soldered up an adapter to use the A1000 keyboard on my A2000. And I "Think" but am not sure, that most Amiga keyboards are similar, not withstanding their different keyboard plugs. Used the Hardware Book to find the specs of the pins. Best regards...Art

@Art
thanks man, I'll try to build an adapter, I'd love to use my "new" Amiga 1000's keyboard on my A4000 hehe...

Try this link.it may help. I have an A1000 keyboard that I wired to the CD32 wich means it works on the A4000 as well.........with an adaptor to make the plug bigger, it will also work with the A2000 and 3000.

there is a better keyboard layout somewhere on the internet.but I cant find it.........maybe in Aminet or a CD32 website.
