I remember playing a demo of a Licenceware game on an AmigaFormat CD, but cannot remember what it's called.
It was an ultra violent platform shoot-em-up, in the demo there was only one screen and limited ammo. Your solitary armed psycopath stands alone against an army of heavily armed soldiers, children and bag ladies!
If anyone knows it please tell me the name. Also I would like to know if it can still be bought from somewhere.

It sounds like Deathwish 3, but wasn't that on C64 only?

Hi,
the name of this game is "Damage" and it was available both in ECS and AGA, AFAIK. Dunno which I have, I never found any difference between the versions I had/have.

Reynolds

Google for 'damage sadistic', it's the first hit. The site is no longer available but is still in Google's cache.

DAMAGE, that's it. Thanks! :-)

Was there ever an Amiga version of 2000AD's Nemesis the Warlock? (C64, similar but you had to use a sword on zombies then use their piled bodies to get further up the screen - good wholesome family fun!)

Ah that was a damn good game: the acid spit, the gun, it was all good. Best feature: your energy being represented by a hand closing in around a heart. When you were dead, it pumped it dry. Gruesome.

Does anyone remember that PD game where you had to run around a Doom style arena killing hippies with hedgecutters?
It was a first person shooter with digitised characters.
:-D
As for platform shooters, Alien 3 is a good one - First Samurai for A500 if you prefer swords.
