Title: Amiga500 Power Supply in Melbourne?
Post by: RedWarrior on February 08, 2003, 08:13:57 AM
Hi there-
a few weeks ago I clarified a problem I ws having with my Amiga 500- and determined I need a new PSU. A few people were kind enough to offer me one, though I've yet to hear anything back from them, or from the local Amiga Users Group.  Is there anyone in Melbourne who has an old Power supply for a 500 or 1200 (apprently they're the same socket) lying around they could donate?

Thank you!

;)

Just build one!!!

Buy a cheap PC one and connect the 5Volt, 12Volt, Ground, etc.. lines to an Amiga Power plug and it will work fine.

There are plenty of Hacks on Aminet

Sorry can't help on a p/s but here's an idea and
I actually bought the PC Power Supply Adapter for the Amiga 500/600/1200  that this Canadian Co. offers for a project w/my A1200 along w/DeskTopAmiga from Aminet.
