Title: Amiga 500 RAM to Amiga 600HD
Post by: SidVicious on September 07, 2004, 08:24:11 PM
Is it possible to move the 512kb RAM in the RAM slot under the Amiga from Amiga 500 to the Amiga 600HD (the slot under the Amiga 600HD)? How do i open the slot, take the RAM out and so on...?

Yes.

A500 slot has 56 pins
A600 slot has 40 pins

Interesting. How about using A500 RAM expansion in A500+, I tried it and it worked (got 1,5Mb RAM). But then A500+ had two clocks, right? Which one did it use? (hadnt tested that)
