Only seems a really short time since the last one. How frequent are they normally?

I'm expecting about 5 "refugees" from FL in my home starting tonight...they will leave here when the remnants of the storm arrive in GA. If the thing scoots up the coast a bit more before coming on in, there's a chance it could cause rather severe weather up where I am at as well.
Good luck to folks in the path of this nasty thing. I heard they expanded the evacuation order this morning.
