Title: Yahoo! Mail - Saved!
Post by: Hyperspeed on September 02, 2004, 01:54:22 AM
It seems Yahoo! have listened to the complaints of us Amiga users when
we couldn't get the Yahoo! Mail sending and deleting.

The update must have caused quite a bit of disruption but now when you
log in you are given the option to revert to an older version of
Yahoo! Mail.

:-)

This might be more accomodating than the previous one, so users of
ancient browsers might want to have a look.

Just thought I'd let you know, if your account was lying dormant for a
month!

;-)

Yahoo's POP3 service is nicer though - works with YAM very well. You can send and receive e-mails using their service.
I suppose you could use the web interface just to "clean up" your e-mail box to empty it properly though (just move everything into the Inbox then use YAM to download it all).

You can only receive e-mails from Hotmail using YAM (using hotwayd), AFAIK. That works a treat too though. Bit hard to setup, though I managed it with a bit of trial and error.
