Title: Just a quickie (as the actress....)
Post by: Abou27 on September 01, 2004, 09:10:50 PM
A4000.  DF0:  Should drive light flash when polled?   Ask because every few minutes flashes accompany clicks for about 5 or 6 times.  Just curious!

Yep.  Mine flashes for the clicks.  Not much, but if you watch it, it can be seen, especially if it's dark in the room.

Even if I run "noclick" it'll still flash slightly where the click would be.

My CD-ROM light will flash occasionaly but not the floppy light. It's
bad enough that it clicks every second without it flashing the LED.

I wonder if a NoClick style tool would stop the light being messed
with...

I reccomend MultiCX 2.56 on Aminet (not the latest one as it's
limited) and if you want to make use of the light use Executive (which
can use the floppy light as a CPU monitor).

It gave me the creeps though, if the CPU was being used a lot I got
the feeling I was crashing (since when you crash the LED blinks).

:-D
