Title: Tell me what the name of that Kings Quest parody on the Amiga was (found it!)
Post by: iamaboringperson on September 01, 2004, 07:25:58 AM
..Please

I remember it was a graphical adventure, and rather short.

If featured a girl, and magic mushies which made her hallucinate, and there was a man eating plant in it.

I remember it was on a magazine cover CD. It was quite strange.

Any ideas?

Nope. I've just checked some screenshots of that.

It's too professional! This was crap.

:-) The graphics were crap. But it was funny.

I wanted to take a look at it so that I could base a game I'm writing on it.

edit--

I do have it on one of my hundreds of CU Amiga or Amiga Format CD's

But could you imagine searching through them for it?

Thankyou, kenny.

You've just helped me find the game! (http://images.google.com.au/images?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&q=Muscarine&btnG=Search) (Look at the screenshot on the left, middle somewhere)

Wow!  I played this years ago and I'd forgotten about it..  I'll have to try it in UAE again.  ISTR it was pretty well done (if not just creatively trippy ) if you can get past the graphics... which are actually well done too.
I'm pretty sure Muscarine came on a cover CD from CU or AF, or maybe I just got it from Aminet.
