there is a 5DWM project for Linux looks pretty cool.

I tried to install 5DWM a while ago, but I never got it working. The toolchest worked, however, so I changed the look of my FVWM a bit.

I've used FVWM but I just dont like it. It's incomplete and although its very stable it lacks a purpose.
this 5DWM when its complete will have a very good purpose...to make porting apps easier...and it includes a nice toolkit... I'll run it when it comes out of beta. I've tried ot before and it was kinda buggy.
I still think its cool as hell...

I just love FVWM and FVWM2.
Does everything a window manager should, IE manage windows :-)
Although I admit 5DWM is very good-looking.

ohhh FVWM/FVWM2 are booth good WM's... I'm just waiting for this SGI WM to get stable enough to use..
right now I'm a Gnome/WM/BB user.... (never mixing any)...but I have respect for FVWM...
