I'm just watching this program 'Rude Girls' on BBC 2 and I can't believe that these specimens exist.
The parents should be fined, or shot, or both.
-
Saw the bit about the 2 girls who liked to pull the wigs of jewish people (or something). Idiots.....
Dissolve 'em in acid I say.
-
This was the best one:
"...D ain't even got no warrants or nuffink. She ain't even known by the Old Bill. So she's been lyin' all along, an' I'm fuming..."
Followed very closely by:
"...I can do wha' ever I like, innit. I ca' spit on yous if I want, yeah. Wa' you lookin' at? I'll come an' bomb this place, yeah. I can do wa' eva I like yeah, I'll get what's his name (turns to cameraman) ...Bin Laden....an'...who's tha other one....yeah, Hitler....I'll get them 'round..."
--------------------------------------------------------
They'll be voters very soon and that scares me.

Look on the bright side, they'll probably never bother :-)

Actually their accent (or more likely, unability to grasp the basic principles of the English language) was almost unintelligible. Well, for me as a non-native English speaker anyway.

You know what's funny? My inlaws from Africa (Kenya) speak better english than most of my wife's cousins who've been here for generations.

They'll only want to vote when the Asian guy at the corner shop refuses to sell them cigarretes. "Coz like, tha' paki in the shop,yeah, is like a total snide, innit. So like, I'll vote tha' BNP and sees how they likes it, yeah?"
But I doubt if they'll actually bother to vote. Which is a pity, the average IQ of the BNP voterate could double. :-D
-
Its a pity we can't stop them procreating and operating heavy machinery, such as vehicles, innit...
-
We could just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself.

I'd say that these people were merely a different branch of the chav genus. As such theyr'e not worse than any other chav, theyr'e just equally repugnant :lol;

That looks like derro talk.
There's probably nothing worse than a derro, IMO.
@adz
It's spelled 'derro'. D-E-R-R-O.
-
A D-E-R-R-O may talk like that, but the general definition of a D-E-R-R-O is drunken homeless person, and from what our British friends are saying, I doubt these "girls" fall under that catagory.
-
@adz
That might be true, however, that's the OLD, unused definition.
The common usage of 'derro' is a person who is not homeless, but just a plain {bleep}head.
-
@ima

No, that would be a "muzza", a "Sidchrome" or, my favorite, a "wanker". A derro is and always will be a drunken homeless person, eg. "Geez, will you look at that bloody derro taking a pi$$ on that car over there..." or "Honey, theres a bloody derro asleep in the front yard again, get me a bucket of water!!!" :-D
-
No, I don't know about north of Melbourne, but certainly in the East & South East region, a derro is a drug abusing nearly brain dead moron, who doesn't care about anybody.
Usually they are unemployed, have slow speach, rough skin, and beg for 'spare change man' alot.
At least a neo-nazi cares about some people. ;) Derro's don't even care about themselves.
-
@ima
Ahh, you mean a "piece of junkie sh!t", then yes, technically the term "derro" could be used.

Crikey... One or two of them were advocating the notion that it's okay to be as thick as sh#t and pig ignorant in public, because the normal rules of society don't apply to them.
I was kind of feeling mixed emotions watching it. Part of me was thinking "please, dear God make sure none of them breed", but part of me was actually quite struck by the fragility shown in all of them - with the exception of the anti-semite who I just wanted to see get slapped by someone. Strangely the narrator seemed to have the most sympathy for her saying "If anyone was a product of their environment, then its [her])".
The funniest was the Ali G moment courtesy of her friend. "I have to keep tellin' people I is black, cos I don't look black or nuffink. It's like, cos I 'ave a black mum...".
The one I felt most sorry for was Rudi, although she sickened me with her attitude to violence, she had a lot of bottled up anger and frustration over her father's death. She was also the one I held out the most hope for in the future. She had a side to her that was quite articulate.

Maybe this is just the first time Chavs have been allowed on t.v? :lol:
-
Is there a place I can download this, or view it somehow?

I recognize that phenomena. Any Swedes here who will join me in my crusade against Lunarstorm? :evilgrin:

Actually, as a native (and qualified) English speaker I found it difficult at times too...
Maybe they could have put up subtitles or something?
-
@ subtitles
:lol:
Like they did in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels ?
(Do you remember Rory Breaker's rhyme/slang?)
The best one was '...he was watching the custard...'
For our Aussie friends, I will translate: custard is one half of an item (jelly and custard). What does jelly rhyme with? Telly!!
So he was watching the telly...
That one cracks me up every time. Could be a South African thing, I don't know.
But...as far as these rude girls go, I think they are worse than chavs because they actually damage property and people. I mean buying crowbars and peeling the labels off, and vandalising cars and 'bottling' people, that seems a bit extreme for a chav.

Not in my experience. I don't hate chavs just because they look at me funny, y'know. :lol:
-
I thought the general consensus was that chavs are annoying, mouthy brats loitering around MacDonalds in Burberry clothing. In other threads people have said that they will back down if confronted.
You mean they are violent too?
-
@Punkie
tis a bit off topic, but what does your avatar means/displays?

Not always. But it's certainly not out of the realms of chavdom.
They will usually attack in groups, of course.

Well, I don't know if you recognise it, but that's Robert DeNiro as Travis Bickle in the film 'Taxi Driver'. One of my favorite films.
As for what it means to me, Travis feels very alienated and apart from the world around him, which I definitely relate to.

ach zo.
but I always thought about that (yup, I lived too for a long time in a world that was extremely alienated from me) the world was wrong, I mean, I that I should go to a place that where the ppl are not alienated to me (exodus - Bob Marley)
not necessarily far away, but I mean, just the right place.
So I read that you want to the Americas but methinks tis more important you seek out a place where you feel where you belong (I got that now, here in Groningen-city)
/offtopic
-
I think that going there will be part of that seeking. :-)
-
If I were you, I'd begin with looking nearby (or well, in the UK that is..)
This way, less fuss, less money spent, but probably with the same result :-)
I suggest a student's city.. I mean, a city with an university (maybe Aberdeen?)
but let's discuss this rather in the punkie goes america thread..
