I have LHA.run which is fine but I'm relly not that clever or inclined to type in all those commands, can anyone recommend a utility that's easy to use (Like winzip, but for the amiga?)
Thanks

if you have OS3.9 then use "SYS:Tools/Unarc"
before i upgraded I used Dopus to make buttons that let me compress/uncompress easily.

I have OS 3.0 though.. :-(

I can send you something. PM me your email address.

There's an LhA GUI on Aminet. Or I think DirOpus used to unLhA. I know my custom DiskMaster setup does, too.
But, really, out of all the commands for LHA, all you really need to know is.
lha x
ex:
lha x ram:blahblah.lha dh0:blah/
would extract file blahblah.lha to the directory blah on dh0:.
[edit - fixed command] Right you are, Piru. I've been using Linux too long. I want to qualify everything with a - or / . ;-)

lha -x ram:blahblah.lha dh0:blah/
That would be lha x ram:blahblah.lha dh0:blah/

DOpus 4 comes configured with Lha functionality out of the box. It's a fantastic program and will run on almost any Amiga. I can't live without it; it makes day-to-day file operations extremely easy.
See Aminet.
