Have a look here for someones very difrent style amigaone case http://members.optusnet.com.au/wyattaw/Boing/BoingCase.html (http://members.optusnet.com.au/wyattaw/Boing/BoingCase.html)
i found it while looking for something else . :-)

Halfway through the project, he could have very well decided to switch to an R2D2 AOne case. :-)
-
@x56h34
hum, not a bad idea - R2D2...
But could he still play football with it?
-
@blobrana:
Hehe, thinking of doing it?
Someone should then also create a C3PO Pegasos case and make it say upon boot "R2...this is all your fault!". :-)
-
Hum,
`thinking` yeah...
`Doing` is another ball game.
Though i did destroy a PC tower for my amiga, so it can't be that difficult.
-
Im really sorry, but that thing is just hideous.

Same thought here, ewwwwww! Looks like a giant weird lamp. I mean I respect that someone has the talent to do such a thing but it's just.. so.. um.. LOUD!

Very creative and it looks well done, but its not something I would put on my desk...I wonder if it bounces ;-)
-
Well, I think it is really cool looking and well done. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. :-D
-
WOW!
This guy did a SUPER DUPER job!!!! I love this, the BoingBall looks accurately done. I would buy one just to have a real life logo :-) he should sell these cases and mass produce them. Not necesarily to put an A1, but just the Ball...and also sell versions for A1's
There is only one thing I dont like, and that is the pedestal part with the power supply which takes away from the boing ball.it should definitely be another color and not checkered..................Maybe Black or silver, or white....or simply clear with a blue cathode light.

The idea is cool and it is well done. Too bad it looks HORRIBLE! :)

I'm really very impressed with the imagination and thorough design that went into it. It's truly unique and looks like nothing else I've ever seen.
I wouldn't go so far as to say it looks bad, but each to their own... I wonder what other custom designs people have up their sleeve? I did once seriously think about spraying my Power Tower matt black and coating it with matt laquer to protect the paintwork. I had planned to find a black CD32 keyboard, black Amiga Mouse etc for maximum effect.
I do recall one chap's modded A1200 which was painted black, and fitted with black keys which looked seriously cool.
