Maybe I'm in a nitpicking mode again, but...

It also includes a full 68882 floating point unit (FPU).

060 FPU doesn't implement full 68882 instruction set, but reduced instruction set just like 040 FPU. Lots of 6888x features are emulated in software.

The card can take up to 2x64 Meg sticks of EDO ram.

Actually it can take 2x128MB.

I know I know, I need a life. :-)

@ piru

I noticed that he was wrong about the maximum memory too

Didn't even notice the stuff about FPU

I suppose people buying these kind of things know what they are buying....

I was in the bidding race for this baby...surprise ;)

But i'm out now...once they close in on 200UKP some part of my brain tells me it's wrong...soooo wrong to pay so much for old hardware when there's new hardware (a1 etc.) just waiting to be bought...

but also since i may have gotten lucky with aqquiring a 060 BPPC elsewhere for a steal price.

it's time i get lucky...in more ways than this! please ;)

another one is here, though 040 166...but buy now at 120UKP

I guess it was already at 200 UKP when I posted it here, so no worry :-)
But so many people DO seem to have money for old hardware....
I mean, I drove 200 miles ~ 300km to get a PPC system a few weeks back...

Cool :-)

At least you didn't send a board to DCE or send money to Bernd Bender

Ahh, ebay.de...
Always SO much cheaper.

is there no ebay.dk?

P.S. While on the subject of accelerators on ebay, did anyone else see THIS (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3543&item=8123852035&rd=1)?

I was thinking earlier today, if I sold all my Amiga stuff, and took time with the listings, and had a fair old dose of luck, I could probably have enough cash for two weeks in Barbados....

Hmm....

Yep, I'd recommend a lot of people checking out ebay.de as Amiga PPCs seems to occur there more often.
No ebay.dk yet ;)

also the buy-sell forum at amiga-news.de, but there are many hawks there quick to spot a good deal i've noticed ;)

me thinks this bppc will end at 196, not people will stay up later i guess! my guess!
