Title: Ateo Keyboard Interface
Post by: mpiva on August 22, 2004, 06:50:46 AM
I recently got an Amiga 1200 towerized in an Ateo Concepts case with AteoBus, Pixel64, AteoNet, and the Ateo keyboard interface.  Everything seems to work great except the keyboard interface.  On a COLD boot the keyboard works perfectly.  However, on a WARM reboot, the keyboard no longer works. The lights don't flash while booting, nothing appears when I try to type, and CTRL-A-A doesn't even work.  But if I do a COLD reboot, everything works again.  (I've tried it with both an A2000 keyboard, and a standard PC keyboard.  Both keyboards behave identically.)

   Anybody have any advice?

*** UPDATE ***

I have recently discoved that I can get the A2000 keyboard to work after a warm reboot by using CTRL-A-A.  The machine DOESN'T reboot when I do this but the CAPS light on the keyboard flashes and then the keyboard works normals (of course, at this point if I hit CTRL-A-A again, the machine will reboot).

However, this does NOT seem to work on the PC Keyboard.  Using CTRL-A-A (well actually CTRL-WIN-WIN) has no effect.  The lights do not flash and the keyboard isn't recognized.  The computer will only recognize the PC keyboard on a COLD boot and then everything works perfectly.
