I know what you mean :lol: It doesn't bother me, it just doesn't feel right.
-
I know :lol:
I've heard such since I was 16 years old...
lately, some guessed my age at 50 (didn't shave for a while..)
anyhoo, I became 24 years old today (officially 20th of August, so, yesterday, but I'm still awake -) )
-
You know you're even older when they don't talk to you at all.

Not really, that would make me feel like a teenager again! :lol:

Belated birthday wishes! Did you get everything you wanted? :-)
-
@Speel
Congrats!
-
Nothing makes you feel old like college girls calling you "sir"
LOL! :lol:
If someone called me 'Herrn' (the closest you can get so 'Sir', in the Swedish language), then I'd wonder if they're really college girls. :-P
Cultural differences, I guess. :crazy:

@Speel

And yup, I got what I wanted: a very nice evening in the city with my best friends, and I got lots of best wishes of friends who weren't in the city :-)
Well, materially beseen I got two bottles of wine and a bottle of Kahlua (hastily grabbed out of the cabinet because it was unexpected that I was in the city, real presents are still to come)
@Whabang
&adz

Heh, actually when teenages started calling me 'meneer' (sir) (well the rare teenagers who say 'sir', anyway) I also felt quite old...

@Speel
Happy belated birthday (better late than never!) :-D
24, eh? I'm staring down both barrels of the big "three oh" next year :nervous:

@ Karlos
The Big Three O is a memorable one. I was in South Africa for mine and I popped into the local KFC for some takeaways and they gave me my food in fancy '30th birthday' packaging. I suspected my sister was behind this (she was there too) and I kind of joked around and made a few knee-slapping motions, you know, guffaw guffaw...
..only to find that it had nothing to do with me, it was KFC's birthday too!
So I have the dubious honour of being the same age as the good Colonel's franchise.
I did a little search for you, Karlos, and I found out that your birthday coincides with the release of Betamax tapes and the first episode of the Jeffersons.
So, I think in honour of that we should now address you as Jefferson Betamax.
Sounds like a 60s superhero :-P
-
Or the name of a 70s pornstar... :sealed:.

Greetings Speel,
Live long and prosper
Cheers, Another year has passed!!! :pint:
Don't mind about those girls, you have gained more wisdom. :lol:
Use it wisely.
Regards,
Gizz

Does anyody really know Jefferson Betamax's true identity?
Mild mannered developer by day, chavbuster by night!

Just as Superman had his spectacles to protect his secret identity, so Jefferson Betamax sports an enormous cookie duster to protect his.
Superhero rule #17: Go for a cunning disguise - People can never tell you are the same person with a different haircut/glasses/comedy false nose etc...

@All
Thanks, this round's for me! :pint: (x20)

Barney: Please, I'm trying to drive!
Lenny: Hey, let's go to the girls college!
Carl: No! Playboy Mansion, Playboy Mansion!
Homer: It's my car, and I say we're going to the Lost City of Gold!
Barney: [angry] Oh, that's just drunk talk! [dreamy] Sweet, beautiful drunk
