I'm looking for the latest WD SCSI chip for A3000D (-08, I believe) as well as a Buster -11. Are there any US retailers carrying these still? It would also be nice if they're in decent condition (you know, no scuffs/breaks caused by forced removal).

I picked up both the WD-SCSI-8 and Buster-11 for my A3000D from Software Hut (www.softhut.com) about a year ago. Their web site still lists the SCSI chip at $24.95 and the Buster at $29.95. I've ordered a couple other bits and pieces from them since (Lyra keyboard adapter, Myzner PS/2 mouse adapter) and haven't had any problems. The Myzner was backordered about two weeks, but they advised me of this when I placed my order and kept me informed of my order status.

AFAIK, Softhut is out of SCSI chips - at least they were a few months ago, because they asked me if I had some in stock. I currently don't, but I have a few units being shipped to me. Since you're in California, and I'll be at CGE in San Jose next weekend, we could meet there.
I don't have the Buster, sorry.
If you need other chips, I have a healthy stock of AGA Lisas and 2M chipmem Agnus (8375) ;-)

Oops - I should check distances before I make suggestions to meet. I don't expect you to drive 6 hours for a 20-dollar chip. Maybe USPS is the better way :-)

Thanks to everyone for the help. I should have mentioned US retailers *except* for Softhut! Sorry, purely for personal reasons.
Now that I think about it more, I also don't really need to exclude the rest of the world. If there are sources outside the US, that's fine also. :)
@Schoenfeld,
You're correct about the distance. I will not be making the show. USPS works fine. I'll send you a PM.

My two cents: Software Hut is da bomb! Never had a problem with them since I have been dealing with them almost a decade now. Great people.
Woot!

Hi,
Centsible have both the SCSI chip and Buster.
www.centsible.com/ (http://www.centsible.com/)
Outside the US Vesalia have them cheap. (www.vesalia.de)

@Ol_hd
Buster 11? I only found R6 and R7...
-
Yeah, I didn't see an 11 listed there either.
@OL_hd,
Thanks for the tip on Vesalia. I see the correct Buster here (although I wouldn't call it cheap) but the WD SCSI revision is not apparent. I'll send 'em an email.

Let me check my stash of A3000 chips when I get home (assuming I can even remember where I put them!)...I had Busters, SCSI, ZIPs and lots of spares somewhere.

Thanks!
