Hi.
New here, but this seems like a place an Amiga buff like myself would appreciate. That and i have a question...
Recently i got myself a good deal on some hardware for one of my A1200's (synthmodule, midi-sampler, joysticks, diskdrives and some accelerator-boards) and in the middle of the pile i found an Archos Overdrive HDD PCMCIA. Supposed to be 400 Mb.
However it seems scrambled on some blocks, so i decided to partition it, but i don't know how to. It connects to PCMCIA and then loads some built in controller, then it maps a harddrive, unfortunatly only 8 Mb. in size!? I believe the person who had it before accidentally formatted the smaller partition since he mentioned something like that.
I think it is supposed to have drivers for using more than 8 Mb. on PCMCIA on that small partition that autoloads, but they seem to be missing.
I have a disk labeled "AQInstall" and on it there is setup software for installing WB3.0, and some other setup software and tools for the drive...
Anyone who has experience in these drives? Maybe someone can help me make the disk the size it is intended to be? What do i need to install and how?
Thanks for any help i can get.

Hi!
If you want to partition the HDD, then you have to use
HDToolBox, it's in the Tools directory.
Here you can find and download install software + manual for the OverDrive:
http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/search.pl?dir=scsi#overdrivehd
Maybe this will help.
:-D

Ok... The manual is in German though... Don't get much out of it.

Yes, that's not my strongest point either...
There's an english manual on the install-software.
Just download it.
