Title: Crapy WinUAE input timing...
Post by: Hardboy on February 02, 2003, 05:23:54 PM
Is there any way to get WinUAE input timing working correctly. I cannot type anything on the keyboard without getting too many characters. I have adjusted input preferences to the maximum... Any suggestions??

Lower the CPU speed on the slider.

Huh? I have selected: "fastest possible, but remain chipset timing", so there no CPU-slider...

er, "I have adjusted input preferences to the maximum... " It should be minimum....(?)

I meant "Keyboard repeat delay", and also "Double-Click delay". These are set to maximum...

I remember having the same problem once.  I think it's CPU emulation, play with the CPU settings. I assume you're running the latest version of WinUAE???

Yup, choose the third alternative, below the "A500 speed"..."adjustable between cpu & chipset" I thinlk it says...and then you can adjust the slider.
