I have never before connected to Internet using Amiga. Because of that I didn't pay much attention to browsers. But, now I'd like to try one on this Amiga:
A1200 ('030, 4Mb fast), KS3.0, WB3.0, Miami, PCMCIA LAN card
what browser would you recommend me?
:-?

aWeb (http://aweb.sunsite.dk) Is nice. It's open-source and free theese days. Besides, it's better than Voyager.
I've never tried Ibrowse.

I always use IBrowse for Amiga web browsing, although you need to make sure you set the Stack properly in icon prefs otherwise it becomes a little crash happy.
If you can't be bothered with setting the Stack manually, you could download a program called StackAttack which sets it autmatically. Since installing StackAttack, my system has been much more stable.
AWeb is a little slow and I don't personally get on with the lack of MUI facilities and I found Voyager to be quite unstable.
My advice is try them all, as unregistered versions of each are freely downloadable and I think that the full version of AWeb is now shareware.

As I stated previously: It's free! :-)
However, you should be aware that none of the Amiga-browsers are up to modern standards.

IBrowse is the best.

@whabang
Hum,
...and very unstable on my machine; (probably due to clashing hacks)...still, i would as that it`s worth downloading...
You forgot to mention that a new versions ( Aweb release 3.5.01b ) is available.
Direct Download Link (http://www.broad.ology.org.uk/amiga/archives/aweb3.5.01b_20040804.lha)
And here`s a link for Ibrowse (http://amiga.iospirit.de/), er, HERE! (http://www.ibrowse-dev.net/)

Blob,
To be honest, I'm still using 3.4, which was just as stable as anything else I've tried (it sure beats IE :-P).

I'd recommend IBrowse any day!

I'm an IBrowse user and there are several reasons for why you should choose that one over the others.
It's faster. It is easy to use. It has good javascript support and some nice features.
AWeb on the other hand is free and the latest beta is quite good.
Voyager is very slow and the latest beta isn't very usable IMO.

I'm using AWeb (3.4APL) for 2 reasons:
Firstly, it's free. Amiga was expensive to own as a computer. Amiga was even more expensive to upgrade as a hobby project. Amiga refuses to die, and whilst I'd be happy to support it by paying a few bucks for certain programs, some companies are charging WAY too much for their wares.
Secondly, the Voyager demo I have, screws up the small fonts. I can't read a thing. I've tried setting it to use fonts of my choice, but it makes no difference. With AWeb I can at least read everything, even if it does flash the screen like crazy whilst loading content :(

I used to use AWeb 3.4PL full version, its no that fast I can tell you, so now I use IBrowse 2.3 its a lot faster and a lot more atractive to use with MUI.
I dont get the problems with IBrowse as I do woth AWeb.
