Title: DELL 2001FP TFT
Post by: Etho on August 10, 2004, 10:26:30 PM
Hi,

Can anyone here comment on the "DELL 2001FP" , I bought one of ebay for £579.99. I bought it since it had a response time of 16ms which is pretty bloody good for LCD monitors and a resolution of 1600*1200.

So does anyone else own it? Any good?

Wow thats a huge screen!

yeah, 16ms looks goods, in the past, the response time of most LCD’s was between 20ms and 50ms, er, yours will probably equate/support frequencies  to 60Mhz...

And if you want to take on the hardened granny Quakers then you could always hook up a CRT...

Well I've had my 19" monitor now for a while so I thought it was time for an upgrade!

That price just seemed to good to be true but the guy had nearly 2000 ebay responses in his profile.

(they seem to know the score) and it is indeed a good deal!

enjoy!

Dell Small Business was blowing those out for ~$750US.  I was very tempted to buy one, but chickened out.
