...but I guess I wasn't the only one tracking it...
CDTV-CR on Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5112449386&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT)

It would definately be interesting to see a high quality photo of its internals.

Whats so special about this one?

Umm, this looks like a regular CDTV. What makes this a prototype? The model number of CD-500?

Hi,
Umm, this looks like a regular CDTV. What makes this a prototype?
Its a very rare Amiga, its got a totally different custom chipset, has an FVM slot, slot loading CD-Rom, PCMCIA slot, the AUX port from the CD32, room for an internal floppy, IDE interface, loads of stuff.

Hi,
It would definately be interesting to see a high quality photo of its internals.
I have a few, the motherboard ones are not so good though (Its a big board and I only use a digital camera) but the flash/ide card and some closeups of the chips are high quality.
If you want some e-mail/PM me. :)

@Oli_hd
Why dont you send your pictures to Ian over at www.amiga-hardware.com? That way everyone can benefit from them...

There is also another good Amiga Hardware Database with high quality close-up images of Amiga..uhm..hardware (duh! :-P): http://amiga.resource.cx/ (http://amiga.resource.cx/)
All that's missing are images of the CDTV-CR mainboard :-D
