To clearify, Is the Fastram Zipp's on the A3K the same as on the Chipram side? I.e. can I use the Fastram Zipp's in the Chipram place? :-)
I know they are pin-compatible but how about the specs?

Only those that will fill 1 bank with 1 MB (8 chips organized in 4x256kBit).
4MBit-zips will also only work when they are 4x1MBit (not 1x4Mbit), but ONLY as fast-mem.

The A3000 usually comes with 1 meg of chip and 1 meg
of fast ram. These are all 'Dip' chips. The 1 meg of Dips
in the fast ram sockets can be moved over to the chip ram
side for 2 megs chip ram. Then you can install Zips in
the Zip sockets for up to 16 megs ram.
IIRC you can only have 1 meg of fast ram if you use Dips.

Sorry, I didn't told you that it is my A3KT that I'm asking for.
1. It doesn't have DIP at all, it has 1MB Zipp soldered and you can put 1MB Zipp in slots.
2. My A3KT already has 2MB chip but one of the Zipp's were damaged by a klutz(me). When I got my CSPPC I ripped out all the 16MB Fastram-Zipp's(after years of contact trouble) I tested to replace the damaged Chip-Zipp with a Fast-Zipp. Now with all the problems I have to get a stable computer I was wondering if this Fast-Zipp was compatible with those Chip-Zipp's.
3. If they aren't compatible, maybe I should replace all Chip-Zipp's with Fast-Zipp's.
4. Hope this clear up a bit :-)
Ps. I just call them Chip and Fast-Zipp's so you now which Zipp's I´m talking about.

If you had 16MB fast than you had 4Mbit-chips in there (as there are only 4 banks for fast-ram).
These won't work as chip-ram.
