Title: What a fantastic FRIIIDAAYYY!
Post by: whabang on August 06, 2004, 11:34:56 AM
The summer has finally hit Helsingborg! Sunbathing with a cold beer sounds really nice! :pint:

@Whabang

It's humid and hot down here in Essex.  I need a cold beer and a chill out in the sunshine, it's supposed to be in the mid to late 20s on Sat / Sun.

Why am I stuck in an office with no aircon?

F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-RIDAY!!!!!!

It's hot here too. I only just got up :-o, and it looks as if it'll be a lazy day (a mixture of sunbathing/reading and trying to get 16MB of Fast RAM to work in the A4000 :lol:)

@ PMC
I feel your pain. The executives turned off the AC for an entire day last week, just because some visitor thought is was cold. :\

@Cyberus
Sounds like a really tough day, eh? :-P

You'll be finished soon though won't you? And then you'll have the whole weekend to enjoy yourself, with all that lovely money you've earned :-)

Can't you have a 'liquid lunch' somewhere, and enjoy the sun in your lunch break?

Did that. 30 minutes isn't long enough. :-(

It was hot and humid here today. As was yesterday, up until 3:30pm when the entire atlantic ocean underwent a freak quantum displacement and subsequently materialised in a grand "F*** you, Heisenberg" gesture, directly above Manchester :-o

It rained and thundered virtually non stop for hours. At times, it didn't seem to be rain as I know it, more like standing under the Victoria Falls :-D

The old saying about the monsoons of Manchester might be becoming an unintentional truism ;-)

The highest outside temperature that I recorded today was 31 Degrees Celcius.

Now that's hot (if you are used to Manchester's weather).

Gee...I'd like to see how you would fare on a humid 42°C day, we don't get them that often, but when we do, boy is it hot :-o

I hope you`re not flying over the international date line  :nervous:
I can just imagine odin doing his William Shatner impression, as he looks out of the window and sees the gremlins playing with the engines..

:lol:

Nah, just flying from Norway to The Netherlands. Not really a flight, just a small hop. In fact I could probably just jump, it`s just that that is so tiring ;-).
