I have two, NIB.. one I'm putting in the A500 of mine.. I'm going to install a 3.5" hd in it.. but I guess I'm supposed to hook up a seperate power supply to the HD correct? Can I use a older 4 gig hd ?

Hi
You'll need to power the drive with a floppy power connector.
So I suppose you'll need a paired floppy connector if you want to keep the internal floppy.

aaah ok.... if I go w/a 2.5" hd, then it will not need its own power connector right? btw, it says I need 16 bit hard drives? whats that?

Yeah, 2.5" drives have a 44pin connector, incorporating the power.

I'm afraid I don't know.

Did you get them from eBay? I just ordered one. Was also thinking of getting the AdSpeed/AdIDE2 but not sure how that will work with 1.3. I guess any older laptop HD will work as they do in the Amiga 600/1200 just fine. Now I need to get a nice used A500 as I do not want to mess with my MIB 500 I have. :P
