Title: Amiga 3000 for sale on Ebay
Post by: Jimbo17 on August 05, 2004, 02:04:05 PM
See my ad on Ebay.  It's a great machine that got put on a shelf and left there.  I was really bummed when Amigas did not catch on.  Posted today (8/5) for 7 days.  I'll try to get it boxed and weighted before the bid is closed.

Looks nice. Unfortunately if it's been sitting on the shelf that long the battery more than likely has corroded and and eaten through the motherboard :-( Have you tried booting it lately to see if it will even boot any longer?

Welcome to Amiga.org, BTW. I don't know if I'd agree with never catching on though. i guess it depends on perspective:-)

BTW Jimbo17, you don't need UNIX for real multitasking on an Amiga ;-)

@Trinity

As far as I know there aren't any for OS3.9. IIRC there were manuals made for OS3.5, but they were printed in German only. Your best bet would be to find an old copy of the OS3.1 manuals.
