Title: CLI Internet ?

What drive do I have to mount to turn the
CLI into an FTP-style lister?

Not quite sure what you mean, but if you're looking for a command line FTP client, NcFTP is one of the best.

erm... i think you mean FTP: device
so that you can treat ftp sites like drives?

you should find a client on aminet...
i once downloaded one from there, i think, and it wasnt too bad  :-)

;-) Directory Opus Magellan II does that very well.  Mounted FTP sites appear in the listers just like drives.  Up/down loading files is as easy as pie.

Get ClassAction, it has info about WebFTP in it.  When mounted, you can treat different sites like they are mounted drives.   If you don't want to bother with ClassAction, I believe you could get away with webftp.lha from the aminet.

Be wary when using FTPmount in Workbench. It can lock up the whole system when something goes a bit wrong with FTP commands (eg bad password and stuff).
