Title: Xoops user lever inflation
Post by: weirdami on August 01, 2004, 07:29:28 AM
Were the user level criteria invented back in a time when user participation on forums was really low so the Xoops people never envisioned anyone with 6000 posts? Does AO need a revised level uppering system?

Those levels were allready changed atleast twice.

I remember Coder and Red having the top-most level, back when they just reached 1000 (and when I was still closely behind  :-x ).

Xoops (and other forumlike software) give the webmaster the option to add extra "levels" or to adjust the criteria of the existing ones... But to adjust it only to please the blabbermouths..
