Title: Which Amiga demo had the most memorable music ?

thinking of good demo music:

+ Phenomena - Enigma (http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=394) (1991) absolutely brilliant tune - must be played at max volume :-P
+ Sanity - World of Commodore (http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=2938) (1992)
+ Crusaders - Audio X (http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=5498) (1989) one of the musicdisks i remember well

I also end up with tracks from various Nature demos stuck in my head...not really my style musically,
but generally they're very nicely layered...with a good balance of elements.

WinAMP in the library has an Internet TV channel called demoscene.tv ( http://www.demoscene.tv ) and they have an Old Skool channel, plays lots of Amiga / Atari Falcon demos :-)

Its pretty cool. Had some Budbrain and JoEs there yesterday.

Post by: X-ray on August 02, 2004, 10:45:44 PM: Yup, Nine Fingers was good, but the one that I really liked (and its embarrasing because I've forgotten the title) was the one where they raytraced a low-res first-person rollercoaster sequence and made the car stop and go with the music. It was awesome. Is it called Switchback or something like that? I can't remember who did that, but that was the best.

Yeah, there are a couple of good demoscene streams on Winamp ;) I've found a couple of amazing PC demos and downloaded them later to watch in good quality.

Oh wow, I forgot about Knulla Kuk!!! :) That brings back the memories! But, not as good as Cortouchka (sp?) IMO.. I think Knulla Kuk was Moby's sequel to Cortouchka, there are some lines shared between the two. The drums and rhythm guitar in Cortouchka are really really good though.

Got that back in 1994, just days before my kickstart 2.04 package came in the mail... Those were heady days :-)
