From what little I've seen, heard and experienced from KMOS they seem commited and focused.

Although it's not their table to "fix" A.Inc's mess with the t-shirts and coupons they seem to try work it out for the better which show that they're not just here to take the IP and run but aim for a good future together with the current commnuity.

I actually have a good feeling about this for once... often I just sitt with my classic machines and cherish what I have but this is the first time I realy belive that something good will come of all the "fuzz" lately. :-D

Maybe, just maybe, I can now get that refund I've been after for the last year and a half.  If I'd left that in the bank it's be worth $54.96 now.  On second thoughts, how much would an exremely rare, 2-years-in-the-making, Club Amiga T-Shirt and virtual OS4 coupon fetch on Ebay...?

@Lando,

With the right wording a cool $549.60 ;-).. I'm sure you can come up with some of the TV shopping style marketing hype wording..

Cool looks like this is being taken light heartedly, so let me take a shot at humor.

Maybee the tee-shirt will say I was fleeced!  :-D

Naah just trying to show a little humor. Don't forget, I was one of the biggest cheerleaders during the coupon drive.

Wow, it seems we've found a new measure as to how determine a successful company. It's no longer important if one can keep a tech-startup alive in a market where all tech stocks (and most startups) have tanked, but can you print off a few T_Shirts for a few zealots! Oh well, at least now this issue too can be forgotten like a bad dream...

edit: That was mostly tongue in cheek, no need for a flame war to ensue....

It's a good incentive, methinks. They/he seem intent on rebuilding the community's trust, whatever good that'll do them. ;-)

While I have something of a suspicion that the t-shirt issue will have little to do with whether or not they're successful in the long run (du-uh), I'd say it's a good first impression to make.

Now, a few more suggestions for the text:

"I'm not the new Amiga Inc. CEO - it just says so on my businesscard"

"This is what a $50 t-shirt looks like"

"Clothing, Apparel, Merchandise"

"2 years in the making"

"Putting a thousand monkeys on sewing machines may eventually produce a few t-shirts but it's not something you're going to want to wait around for, and you don't want to be responsible for cleaning up the mess in the meantime."

Petition for the company, in a popularity drive, to rename themselves K. Moss, and pretend they are endorsed by some supermodel.

Hey, it's a smooth transition...and a lame joke.

@The_Power_of_the_Ginger

I think Garry said it's K "mose" insted of "moss". I wonder if that's so we don't think it's an F. Moss inspired name. :-)

(I don't really wonder :-P, because I'm quite sure it's not the case.)

So, just a very posh way of saying K. Moss then, just the way she'd like it.

I don't care what this company does now, it's delivered on a promise inherited from the previous company, and that's very generous. T-shirts for everyone (who paid $50)!

And hopefully we no longer have the American equivalent of Only Fools and Horses, with Bill and Fleecy Trotter going round ain a 3-wheeled van flogging dodgy Amigas and Software Development Kits.

We'll all look back on it and laugh someday. :-D
