Hi all,
I'm trying to track down an app launcher, without much success. It wasn't anything fancy, didn't attempt to emulate a Win95 start menu or anything like that. It was simply a grey rectangular pane divided up horizontally into thin strips on which the name of the apps were printed (no icons, just text). I doesn't have a close icon or any other gadgets, just simply as I described. It was quite popular with some people at Amiga Shopper, as this is where I used to admire it. Can anyone enlighten me?
Many thanks,
Dandelion

Hi!
Try ToolsDaemon, available on Aminet.
It's simple to use, and don't take much
memory.
I tried a lot of program-launchers,
but ToolsDaemon beats them all!
K-disK :-D

Yep! It sure sounds like Toolddaemon.

Yea, tooldddaemon does the stuff...
though i have LaunchPad v5.2 (http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/blobrana/cont/computer.html) on my screen as well...
(stable and very configurable)
Download From Here! (http://wuarchive.wustl.edu/~aminet/util/boot/LaunchPadV52.lha)

Hum,

gave that wrong link to program...
it`s URB V2.1 (http://de.aminet.net/pub/aminet/util/misc/URB.lha)...
And uses mui (http://wuarchive.wustl.edu/~aminet/util/libs/mui38usr.lha) to look so good...
