Title: how fast can you overclock a 1220/4 28 Mhz ???

Got one of these in my RBM tower and got also a Speedmaker to change mhz. How fast can one overclock such a 68020/28Mhz ???

I don't thik you can overclock it (more as it's actually overclocked from 25Mhz already) as it take it's clock from the Amiga, the crystal socket available is only for FPU clock.

If it takes its clock from the A1200 then it should be only 14 Mhz,not ???

14MHz, times two ;-)

I had an Appollo 020, don't think it would take kindly to overclocking - much better idea to get a cheap '030 card ...

Thats right, the B1220 takes it clock from the A1200 mobo and multiplies it. Th next step would be 42 MHz if you find the multiplicator and a way to change it, but I highly doubt, that the 68020 will take so much pain.
The crystalsocket is just for the FPU in case you want to clock is asyncronusly.
