Title: Karmanss on eBay?

Anyone deal with the seller karmanss on eBay?  All he sells is overpriced Amiga gear and has a private rating because of 1 negative feedback?  WTF!  I for one like to see what others have said before I bid...  Anyway he always starts his bids real high.  I hate sellers like this.

He is somewhat expensive, but he has good product and service. Although an A4K mobo he sold to me was non-working even though he had it listed as "extremely unstable". But he is reliable. Another A4k mobo I bought from him works like a charm

I bought a "Non-Working" Amiga 3000T motherboard from him. I have the service manual as well as a working "T".  I needed a project and I thought what the heck.

When I received the board someone had hacked the SMD 68030 and 68882 IC's off destroying many pads and traces in the process.  It never even occured that somebody would sell something like this without disclosing it in the auction such as "Non Working and DAMAGED/NOT REPAIRABLE"  Especially after I plainly asked him ahead of time if there was any battery damage.

Oh Well, Live and Learn. I still pass by his auctions without a look.

Yeah he sells a lot of 4000 MBs, all are over $250 or so.  Well if he offers a warrantee that would not be bad. Did he give you a refund or exchange the 4000 MB you got that did not work?

Nope.

I needed an A4k mobo desparately the last time I purchased off him, cost wasn't my immediate concern. He sells heaps of A4000 stuff because he acquired these off some film studio or something IIRC. He is a double-edged sword... you can get great product, but expensively, but reliably. Or you can non-working "unstable" product, hefty price, but reliable.

I warn all of you:  DO NOT BUY FROM THIS JERK !!!!  He is way over-priced and most of the Amiga stuff he sells is not that great.  TjLaZer, I agree with you and I too hate sellers like this.
