Title: Directory Opus - Does it have Windows/MUI style tab sorting?
Post by: Hyperspeed on July 24, 2004, 01:56:33 AM
I'm using Directory Opus 4.12se (which came free with my hard disk).
Lately I have wanted to view a long list of files in a different order
to the alphabetical sort.

For example, I want to view all the files in the order they were
created by their datestamp, or an alphabetical sort of the file
comments.

Windows file manager does this and so do MUI programs, do any later
revisions of DOpus let you sort the file lists with GUI based
selectable tabs?

If not it'd be a nice idea for the open source DOpus project!

:-) :-) :-)

This functionality has been in the open source version of DOpus for a while now.

Do you have an URL?

I've heard a lot of people get trouble with the open source version,
in the later ones like 4.17?

My DOpus 4.12se is very slow at copying between devices too, don't
know if it's verifying or if ASynchio library is behind it.

I'm running the latest version here with no problems.
