Hi
i like the new AOrg theme! :-) it looks good, with my WB theme as well.
Bye
-
I thought it looked different too, but I couldn't be sure. I guess I never paid much attention lol
Looks nice though

hum,
nice and blue.
-
FANTASTIC
A lot better, I didnt particularly like the old theme to be honest.
But this one, I love it!!! :-D
-
Ice cold blue - perfect for a hot summer's day :-D

It's nicee.

Great new theme! Nice change!! :-)
-
No need for the hype!
It's just nice, like the others. :-D
-
are those clouds i see???
cool!
-
Looks good! Makes my banners look out of place, but I can have that fixed :lol:
-
And it's all BLUE! I _KNEW_ this site was favouring the blue camp!
:-)
Sincerely,
-Kenneth Straarup.

are those clouds i see???
Yes, your now in Heaven!
-
Bah.. Tried to click on home without looking.. You guys moved it... ;-)
But no kidding, it looks nice.
-
Don't think of it as your banners looking out of place, think of it as they now stand out and grab your attention. Subliminal advertising notwithstanding of course. :)

Ok, that's it! I'm writing an all red theme, and you can't stop me! Of course, red clouds seem kinda ominous, but hey, you asked for it!
:laughing:

Same exact theme, little changes around every corner, but nothing dangerous.
-
Yup,kudos to the design effort. Very refined, nice work! :-)
-
it looks nice, and I promise not to point out that it looks like the Windows 95 boot screen more than once ...
The blue works nice, kinda like the 'SubSilver' theme that phpBB comes with :-)

It sure does look good. :-)
-
It's ok, reminds me of Windows though so I'd preferr the old one.
-
It's sad to think how Microsoft has tainted clouds forever. (just looking up in the sky is enough to make me puke..)
Just kidding. The new site looks MUCH better, especially since I only have 16 colours and the new logo looks better with my palette. I've got 4 blues and only 2 reds - so don't make it red!
-
Speaking of the site... I view threads in flat mode. Is the 'feature' that whenever you enter a thread from the front page it moves you to the last post only happening to me? It stops at the first post when I click on a thread via the forums link.
It's highly annoying that I have to scroll to the top / previous page all the time.
Sincerely,
-Kenneth Straarup.

@mr_a500
hum,
You can always just turn off the `image load`...(text only)
it may even improve the page download time...
(A TIP here would be to change the colour balance on your monitor, to give the site a blue/red theme...)
-
btw . . is a my ISP problem or someone else has noticed a slowdown on AOrg, from . . .mhhh yesterday or so?
-
I love the new look.
-
Greetings,
Nice job on the new theme. :)
@Wayne
:lol: Why turn it red? Try the boing ball sky. :) kidding... :lol:
@Webmasters
May I suggest,if you don't mind, more emoicons, err like a :drool: :hittingheadonawall: :pacman: :morebeer: :morecoke: :moreicetea: :morepeanuts: :sleeping: or :bangpc: :killbill: :killbill2: :lol: ...
Anyway Cheers to the new themes :pint:....
Regards,
Gizz

Let's make the theme on AO randomly selected from hundreds of user submitted themes. :-) Wayne could tell us what size pics to make and where they go and everyone can send in their own designs and have them randomly change every day.
-
crap idea :P
-
New theme is nice, but the home, pmail, etc. buttons are horribly off center.

not for me! :-o
-
Das ist gut! :pint:

It happens to me too. :( I can't find the setting to turn it off, if there is one.. Doesn't anyone else find this really annoying? It's a pain in the behind when you start reading a thread and it finally finished loading and bumps you down to the end :pissed:
-
With respect intended, if the people complaining about the forum link thing (yet again) can't be arsed to search the forums, I won't bother to explain this yet again.

not for me! :-o
It looks okay at >1024 window widths. Otherwise, they are off to the right under the banner ads. Unfortunately, my Amiga can't currently do that high of a resolution.
-
@adolescent
I guess they are off-center, but so what? They look like they are left justified to the ad box to me. It's no big deal. They're just buttons. They're still clickable no matter where they are. :-)
Are browsers up to where they can use the border=0 thing for image buttons? I see the navigation buttons we're discussing here are image files, but I remember someone way back when complaining that images weren't being used for buttons and Wayne saying that Amiga browsers couldn't do it without putting a border and that would screw up the layout, so he wasn't doing it.
-
@cecilia
the no CARB diet- no Cheney, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld or Bush
quoting that Jackson fella, eh? :-(
-
@weirdami
I agree, they are functional. I was just reporting a bug in the new layout.
Edit: I use Aweb APL and it can definately show images without borders. I'm pretty sure other browsers can too.

I check this site practically more than once a day, and I've never seen such a thread. Perhaps it didn't have a catchy headline?
Could you tell me what to search for? I may have missed it. After all, I did kind of miss this reply...
Sincerely,
-Kenneth Straarup.
